Nairobi, (SONNA) – The Minister of Health and Social Care of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Dr. Cali Xaaji Aadan, officially opened a high-level conference focused on financing and strengthening Somalia’s health system.
The conference, which is of great importance to the development and improvement of the country’s health system, was attended by the Director General of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Guuleed Cabdijaaliil; Ministers of Health from the Federal Member States of Somalia, the Banadir Region, international partners supporting health development in Somalia, directors of the Ministry’s departments and other key stakeholders.
The conference emphasizes the unification of efforts, strengthening collaboration, and implementing a sustainable financing mechanism to ensure high-quality, accessible healthcare services that reach all segments of the Somali population.
