Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Abdisalam Abdi Ali, on Sunday bid farewell at Aden Adde International Airport to his Djiboutian counterpart, H.E. Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, who concluded a four-day official visit to Mogadishu.
During the visit, the two ministers signed cooperation agreements aimed at strengthening bilateral relations, particularly in diplomacy, training, and political collaboration. They also agreed to hold regular meetings and enhance institutional cooperation between the two ministries in pursuit of shared national interests.
The Djiboutian Foreign Minister’s visit reaffirmed the historic ties between Somalia and Djibouti, underscoring their commitment to deepening partnership rooted in neighborliness, brotherhood, and mutual benefit.
