Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Minister of Family Affairs and Human Rights of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Khadija Mohamed Al-Makhzoumi hosted a meeting with the Acting Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General, Ambassador James Swan in Mogadishu.
They discussed the collaboration between UN agencies and the Ministry, focusing on shared priorities and initiatives for the upcoming years.
The Minister highlighted the critical role of UN support in advancing family welfare and human rights in Somalia, reaffirming the government’s commitment to improving conditions for its citizens. Both parties agreed on the necessity of continued cooperation to tackle pressing social challenges.
