Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Minister of Environment and Climate Change of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Khadija Mohamed Al Makhzoumi said that the Environmental Protection and Management Law is officially ratified in Somalia.
The steps taken by the government ensures that the environment is protected and its natural surroundings are safeguarded, and this law will be in effect as soon as the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia signs.
“Proud to announce the official ratification of the Environmental Protection and Management Law in Somalia. This legislation is a crucial step in our commitment to safeguarding our natural surroundings and promoting sustainable development. Let’s work together to protect our environment for future generations,” Minister Khadija said on her X platform.
