Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Minister of Communications and Technology, Mohamed Adan Maalim, has received the Chinese Ambassador to Somalia, H.E. Wang Yu, for talks focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation and expanding educational and technological opportunities.
Ambassador Wang praised the ministry’s work, highlighting the historic ties between the two nations and China’s support in the fields of knowledge and technology. He noted that educational scholarships play a vital role in developing skilled personnel.
Minister Maalim thanked the Chinese Embassy for its continued support and called for increased scholarships and exchange programmes to further strengthen practical cooperation between the two countries.
