Mogadishu – Today, the Minister of Commerce and Industry, Hon. Jibril Abdirashid Haji, held a crucial meeting with the Ambassador of China to Somalia, Mr. Fei Shengchao, in a bid to strengthen the bilateral trade relations between the two nations. The discussions focused on fostering collaboration in the fields of commerce and economy to facilitate mutual growth and development.
During the meeting, both sides emphasized the significance of robust economic cooperation and highlighted the importance of partnership between Somali and Chinese businesses. Recognizing the immense potential for trade opportunities, they expressed their commitment to promoting investments and enhancing economic ties for the benefit of both countries.
