Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Governor of Banadir Region and Mayor of Mogadishu, H.E. Mohamed Ahmed Amir, received Mr. Antoine Grand, Head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Somalia, at the Mogadishu Municipal Government headquarters.
The meeting focused on accelerating ongoing humanitarian and development projects led by the ICRC in Mogadishu, as well as enhancing coordination in responding to emergency situations across the Banadir region. Both sides agreed to deepen collaboration and strengthen institutional ties.
Mayor Amir expressed his gratitude to the ICRC and the Somali Red Crescent for their vital contributions to humanitarian relief, healthcare support, and local development initiatives in the capital.
