Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Governor of Banadir Region and the Mayor of Mogadishu, H.E Dr. Hassan Mohamed Hussein (Muungaab), today laid the foundation of the road connecting Abdikhasim to Banadir in Hodan district.
The Mayor said that the government will ensure that their taxes are returned in terms of services, and will continue to improve the different parts of the society needs, including the infrastructure of the city, and vowed that more roads will be rebuilt in the capital.
Mayor Muungaab stated that the roads which are not closed for security reasons will soon be opened for the general public to use them freely, and urged the general residence of Mogadishu to cooperate with the security agencies to enhance the peace and prosperity of the capital.
The road inauguration event was also attended by officials from the Mogadishu Municipality, the district Commissioner of Hodan, elders, businessmen, security forces and residents of Hodan district.
