Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Governor of the Banadir Region and Mayor of Mogadishu has officially inaugurated a new parking facility at Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu.
The newly opened parking area addresses a long-standing need for Somali citizens and airport users. It is expected to significantly improve convenience for travelers while also enhancing the airport’s commercial services and overall aesthetic appeal.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the Director General of the Somali Civil Aviation Authority, Ahmed Maalin, said the modern parking facility marks the beginning of a broader plan to beautify and redesign the front area of Aden Adde International Airport.
“This modern parking facility is the first step in improving the appearance and layout of the airport’s front section,” he said.
The project is part of ongoing efforts to upgrade infrastructure and service delivery at Somalia’s main international gateway.
