Harardhere, (SONNA) – Local forces operating in the Harardhere district of Mudug region have successfully carried out an operation resulting in the deaths of at least three Al-Shabaab militants.
The Mayor of Harardhere, Asayr Ibrahim Matan, confirmed to the Somali National News Agency (SONNA) that the operation took place in the Jowle area of Mudug and was executed as planned.
Local pastoralist communities in the Jowle area provided critical intelligence to the forces, leading to the elimination of the militants, who had been causing significant harm to the local population.
