Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defence, Mr. Abdifatah Abdulkadir Farah, today presided over the closing ceremony of a three-day joint training programme held for staff from the Ministries of Defence, Internal Security, and Justice and Constitutional Affairs.
The training, delivered by experts from SJGAP project, focused on enhancing staff capacity and improving coordination of the annual work plans of the three institutions, to ensure greater alignment and cooperation in the areas of security, justice, and defence.
Throughout the sessions, participants were trained on planning procedures, accountability mechanisms, and the implementation of government work plans in line with the National Transformation Plan (NTP) and the broader reform agenda of the Dan-Qaran Government.
In his closing remarks, Mr. Abdifatah Abdulkadir Farah noted that the training forms part of the ongoing efforts to strengthen coordination and collaboration among Somalia’s defence, security, and justice institutions, aimed at improving service delivery and achieving tangible results for the people.
