Mogadishu, (SONNA) – A new training program jointly organized by the University of Palermo in Italy and the Somali National University (SNU) was officially launched today in Mogadishu. The eight-month initiative aims to build the capacity of staff from key government institutions.
Participants will be drawn from the Ministry of Health and Social Care as well as the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs of the Federal Government of Somalia. The training is designed to strengthen their professional knowledge and skills, ultimately improving the quality of public services.
The program includes a blend of theoretical instruction, hands-on practical experience, real case-based projects, and comprehensive written assignments, all supervised by academic experts and seasoned professionals.
This initiative is a testament to the ongoing collaboration between the Somali government and international academic institutions, reflecting a shared commitment to efficient service delivery and equitable justice.
