Mogadishu — The Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation held a series of high-level meetings this week to review performance, strengthen coordination, and advance strategic priorities across the Ministry.
Minister Ali Yusuf Ali Hish chaired the Ministry’s weekly leadership meeting, attended by State Minister Sadad Aliyo, Deputy Minister Abdihakim Ashkir, and Director General Abdulkadir Ali. The meeting reviewed ongoing operations and strategic priorities, with discussions centered on enhancing interdepartmental collaboration, improving service delivery, promoting accountability, boosting administrative efficiency, and ensuring the effective implementation of approved work plans.
Separately, Director General Abdulkadir Ali chaired a technical meeting of the Steering Committee for the SINNAAN Project, focused on strategic planning. Participants assessed progress on current initiatives, coordinated upcoming activities, and reinforced implementation measures to support the project’s objectives.
The meetings underscore the Ministry’s continued commitment to institutional strengthening, results-driven planning, and effective delivery of key governance and reconciliation programs nationwide.
