The Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Ali Yusuf Ali Hosh, together with his delegation during an official working visit to Algeria, visited the National Centre for Secure Documents, where they held discussions with the leadership of the institution on modern identity management and secure documentation systems.
The delegation, accompanied by the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia to Algeria, received briefings on the institution’s operations and its role in the issuance and protection of official documents, including biometric passports, national identity cards, and driving licences, through advanced technologies that support secure and efficient public service delivery.
The visit also provided an opportunity to exchange experiences and explore areas of cooperation in national identification systems, civil registration, and digital governance aimed at strengthening institutional capacity and modern public administration systems.
