Algiers, (SONNA) — The Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Ali Yusuf Ali Hosh, met with the Algerian Minister of Interior, Local Authorities and Transport H.E. Saïd Sayoud, alongside the Head of National Security of Algeria, and other high level officials, including the Algerian Ambassador to Somalia.
The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation in the areas of security, counter terrorism, reconciliation, stabilization, local governance, and institutional development.
The two sides highlighted the strong and historic relations between Somalia and Algeria and expressed their shared commitment to advancing cooperation and exchanging experiences in support of peace, stability, and state building in both countries.
