London, (SONNA) – Somalia’s Hormuud Salaam Foundation has been awarded the African Social Impact Leadership Award at the 10th Annual ALM Africa Summit held in London, United Kingdom.
The award was presented by former President of Tanzania, Dr. Jakaya Kikwete, to the Foundation’s Chairman, Abdullahi Nur Osman, in recognition of the organization’s outstanding humanitarian work across Somalia and its sustained commitment to supporting vulnerable communities.
Hormuud Salaam Foundation was honored for its impactful social programs, including emergency relief efforts, development initiatives, and community support projects that continue to uplift thousands across the country.
This recognition highlights Somalia’s growing contribution to homegrown solutions and philanthropic leadership on the African continent.
