Mogadishu (SONNA): Contestants representing Hodan District have advanced to the final round of the Ramadan quiz competition after defeating Buulo-Burde District with a score of 12 to 6.
In another match, the Gubadleey District team secured victory over Kaaraan District, with the contest concluding at 8 to 6 in favor of Gubadleey.
This marks the 16th year that Somali National Media has organized the Ramadan quiz competition. This year’s edition is being jointly supported by IBS Bank and the Banadir Regional Administration.
The competition is broadcast every evening on Somali National Media, airing live on Somali National Television and also transmitted through Radio Muqdisho.
Each year, the Ramadan quiz program features participation from 32 districts across Somalia. The winning district receives trophies, cash prizes, and other awards, including certificates recognizing the academic achievement of the country’s emerging young generation.
