Adan Yabaal, Hirshabelle State – Hirshabelle Vice President Yusuf Ahmed Hagar urged the people of Hirshabelle to remain united in the fight against the Khawarij, whom he described as invaders threatening the region’s stability.
The Vice President’s remarks came during a public meeting with the district administration, military officials, and local civilians. He praised the ongoing military operations in the Middle Shabelle region, emphasizing that the fight against the Khawarij is a “just war” and reaffirming the government’s commitment to eradicating the threat they pose.
“We are in a just war and will not tolerate the invading Khawarij,” Hagar declared. He called on both the military and civilians in the region to work together effectively and expedite efforts to eliminate the Khawarij groups that have recently been spotted in parts of Middle Shabelle.
Operations are currently underway in the region to root out these groups, which have been accused of destabilizing local communities. The Vice President’s visit and public address emphasizes the Hirshabelle administration’s determination to maintain security and unity in the face of this threat.
Hagar’s message highlighted the importance of solidarity among the people of Hirshabelle, urging them not to allow divisions to weaken their collective resolve. “The people of Hirshabelle must not be divided in the fight against the Khawarij,” he stressed, calling for a coordinated and robust response to the challenge.
