Ali Gaduud (SONNA) – Hirshabelle State President, Mr. Ali Abdullahi Hussein (Ali Guudlawe), on Thursday conducted an inspection of the armed forces and local resistance units stationed in the Ali Gaduud district of the Middle Shabelle region. The visit emphasizes the ongoing efforts to strengthen regional defenses against the threat posed by extremist groups.
During the inspection, officers from the armed forces provided President Ali Guudlawe with a detailed briefing on the ongoing operations aimed at eradicating the Khawarij. The President commended the soldiers for their dedication and expressed confidence in their ability to secure the region.
In addition to meeting with military personnel, the President also took time to encourage members of the local resistance forces, who have played a critical role in thwarting attacks by the Khawarij. Praising their bravery, he emphasized that their efforts are instrumental in safeguarding the lives and dignity of Somali citizens.
“We are engaged in a self-sacrificing struggle to protect the blood and honor of the Somali people,” President Ali Guudlawe stated during his address. “These religious bandits have distorted our faith and brought suffering upon our communities, but I am confident that we will emerge victorious.”
The President further called for unity among the public and political leaders, urging all stakeholders to join hands in defeating the Khawarij. He stressed that overcoming extremism requires collective action and unwavering resolve from every segment of society.
“Our strength lies in our unity,” he added. “Let us come together as one nation, transcending tribal lines and personal differences, to rid our land of this menace once and for all.”
The visit comes amid heightened security concerns in parts of central Somalia, where militant groups continue to pose significant threats to stability and civilian safety. By bolstering cooperation between the armed forces and local militias, authorities aim to reinforce regional security and pave the way for lasting peace.
Residents of Ali Gaduud expressed gratitude for the President’s visit, noting that it has boosted morale and reaffirmed their commitment to supporting counter-terrorism efforts. Many hope that increased collaboration between government forces and community-led initiatives will lead to tangible improvements in safety and governance.
As Hirshabelle State continues its fight against extremism, President Ali Guudlawe’s leadership serves as a rallying point for both security forces and ordinary citizens determined to reclaim their homeland from violence and instability.
