MOGADISHU, SONNA – A high-level delegation from Hirshabelle State has arrived in the Haji Ali area of Middle Shabelle region to support ongoing military and community-led operations against the Kharijite terrorist group.
The delegation was led by Hirshabelle Parliamentarian Geeddi Oomane, Hirshabelle Police Commissioner Gen. Hassan Dhicisoow, and Middle Shabelle Deputy Governor Muse Shitaawe.
During the visit, the officials expressed their strong support for local resistance forces based in Adalle District, which have been at the forefront of the liberation campaign. The delegation also praised the courage and determination of community fighters who are working alongside Somali security forces to drive out the terrorists.
“The people of Middle Shabelle have shown resilience and commitment in the fight against the Kharijites. Hirshabelle State and the Federal Government will continue to stand with you until the region is fully liberated,” the officials pledged.
The visit reflects Hirshabelle’s broader efforts to mobilize communities, strengthen coordination with security forces, and accelerate the eradication of terrorism in the region.
