Mogadishu (SONNA)-A delegation of Ministers from the Federal Government of Somalia and the Deputy Commander of the Armed Forces had today arrived in Berdale district in Bay region, SONNA reported.
The delegation is set to provide preliminary assistance to those in need in Berdale district and surrounding areas.
Among the officials were the Minister of Justice, Abdulkadir Mohamed Nor, the Minister of Women and Human Rights of the Federal Government of Somalia, the Deputy Minister of Defense Abdifatah Kasim and the deputy commander of Somalia National Army.
The Federal Government of Somalia in collaboration with South West Administration has recently been conducting relief operations in parts of Bay and Bakool regions.
