Galkayo (SONNA) – Galkayo Mayor Abdirahman Sheikh Hassan along with Mudug Regional Deputy Police Commander, District Police Commander and NISA officials participated in a joint security operation in Galkayo.
The operation, which took place in the main neighbourhoods and roads of Galkayo, was to eradicate groups that are accustomed to disrupting the safety of the city, such as drug dealers and users who pose a threat to the security of the district, and have arrested a number of people who will be separated by Security agencies.
The mayor said that no one will be tolerated for disturbing the security and stability of Galkayo, adding that the operation would continue on a regular basis.
