Addis Ababa, (SONNA) – The Minister of Finance of the Federal Government of Somalia, HE Bihi Iman Egeh participated in the 18th Horn of Africa Initiative Ministerial meeting which was held in Ethiopia.
The meeting discussed the promotion and economic cooperation among the Horn of Africa countries, starting with the flow of private businesses.
“Today I participated in the Horn of Africa Initiative ministerial meeting in Addis Ababa. We discussed the importance of investment in borderland communities and the private sector’s role in financing cross-border projects. Somalia is key to regional integration, trade, and investment”, Minister Egeh said.
The Minister delivered a speech at the meeting discussing the importance of the meeting for Somalia and the implementation of the integration plans with the Horn countries.
