Nairobi, (SONNA) — The Minister of Finance of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Bihi Iman Egeh, held an important meeting in Nairobi with ambassadors from partner countries that maintain close ties with Somalia. The discussions focused on strengthening economic cooperation, advancing financial reforms, and deepening the bonds of friendship between Somalia and the international community.
Minister Egeh expressed his gratitude to the ambassadors for their continued support, stressing the importance of transparency and collaboration in sustaining the progress achieved in financial reforms and economic development programs. He also underscored the government’s commitment to securing impactful development projects that will benefit the Somali people.
For their part, the ambassadors commended Somalia’s achievements in implementing economic reforms and modernizing revenue collection systems following the debt relief program. They reaffirmed their commitment to stand by the Somali people and government in building a sustainable economic future.
