Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Minister of Finance of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hon. Biixi Imaan Cige, officially opened the Fifth Somali Business Innovation Summit in Mogadishu today.
The summit focuses on advancing key sectors of the Somali economy, including infrastructure development, business innovation, revenue generation, support for small enterprises, and the empowerment of Somali women in business.
The high-level forum brought together senior government officials, including the Minister of Planning, Investment and Economic Development, Hon. Abdirahman Beene Beene; the Minister of Education, Hon. Farah Sheikh Abdulkadir; the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Hon. Daahir Shire; the Chairman of the National Economic Council, Hassan Adan Hoosow; as well as several members of both Houses of the Federal Parliament.
