Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Minister of Finance of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Biixi Imaan Cige, held a fruitful meeting today with the British Ambassador to Somalia, H.E. Charles King, at the UK Embassy in Mogadishu.
The discussion focused on Somalia’s ongoing economic reform efforts under the National Vision government, including domestic revenue growth, financial restructuring, and opportunities for joint investment cooperation between the two countries.
The United Kingdom remains a close partner and key contributor to Somalia’s economic progress, particularly in supporting public financial reform and broader economic development initiatives.
