Mogadishu(SONNA)-Federal member of the Somalia’s Lower House of Parliament, Mohamed Abdukadir Mohamed revealed that campaigns to mobilize forces, were aimed at flashing out Al-Shabaab militants near Shabelle river banks in Hiiraan region soon.
“We are committed to liberate the whole region from the terrorist militants soon, this will only take us to finish them within two months”, Mohamed said while speaking to local forces, Macawisley who took a lion’s share in defeating the Al-Shabaab in eastern parts of the region.
Mp Mohamed’s remarks came as operations against Al-Shabaab militants intensified in recent months as military progresses are reported from several fronts at moment.
