Mogadishu (SONNA): The Federal Parliament of Somalia has unanimously approved two critical draft laws aimed at bolstering the agricultural sector. The draft law on seeds and species of agricultural plants, along with the draft law on the safety of agricultural plants and discrimination, received overwhelming support from the members of the House of Representatives.
In a remarkable show of unity, all 143 members present voted in favor of the bills, with no votes against or abstentions. This unanimous decision shows the parliament’s commitment to advancing agricultural development and ensuring the safety and quality of agricultural products in the country.
