Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The East African Community Conference on Economic Cooperation (EACCON 2025) officially opened today in Mogadishu.
The conference, attended by more than 350 delegates from member states of the East African Community (EAC), focuses this year on strengthening cooperation and advancing the regional production sector.
The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, officially inaugurated the conference, reaffirming Somalia’s commitment to playing an active role in promoting economic growth and regional collaboration among EAC member countries.
National leaders, ministers, and international delegations are also participating in this significant event, which serves as a platform to enhance trade, investment, and economic partnerships across the region.
