Mogadishu – The Director General of Somalia’s Immigration and Naturalization Agency (HSJ), Mr. Mustafa Duhulow, held a virtual meeting with HSJ liaison officers stationed at Somali embassies and consulates around the world.
The meeting focused on service delivery to Somali citizens abroad, particularly in passport issuance and visa facilitation. Officers shared updates on their operations and highlighted the challenges they face, including resource gaps and the need for stronger institutional support to enhance efficiency.
Mr. Duhulow praised the dedication of the liaison officers working under varying conditions and reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to resolving the reported obstacles swiftly. He emphasized the importance of maintaining high-quality services that meet the evolving needs of Somali nationals globally and instructed an expansion of the agency’s support to citizens wherever they reside.
