Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Second Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Jibril Abdirashid Haji, attended a reception ceremony held to welcome 25 Somali children who recently returned from Italy, where they received specialized cardiac medical treatment.
The Second Deputy Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to Hormuud Salaam Foundation and the Embassy of Italy in Somalia for their joint efforts in facilitating comprehensive medical care for Somali children whose conditions could not be treated domestically.
Mr. Jibril also commended the doctors who performed the surgeries, praising their selfless and dedicated efforts to save the lives of Somali children. He noted that the children showed clear signs of successful treatment and that their health conditions are steadily improving.
