Deputy Prime Minister visits Mogadishu Port to assess development efforts

Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Salah Ahmed Jama, conducted an official visit to Mogadishu Port today. He was warmly received by the Minister of Ports and Marine Transport, Mr. Mahmoud Aden Geesood, State Minister of Ports and Marine Transport, Mr. Mohamed Abdulqadir Dhucle, and the Deputy Port Manager of Mogadishu Port, who is also the acting General Manager, Mr. Ali Haji Mohamed.

During the visit, the Minister of Ports and Marine Transport provided the Deputy Prime Minister with a detailed briefing on the ministry’s extensive efforts to serve the Somali people. He emphasized the ministry’s unwavering commitment to improving the port’s services and advancing its operational efficiency.

The Deputy Prime Minister commended the significant progress and ongoing initiatives at Mogadishu Port, spearheaded by the Ministry of Ports and Marine Transport. He highlighted the vital role the port plays in Somalia’s economic development and its contribution to the nation’s broader recovery goals.

This visit underscores the government’s dedication to fostering infrastructural growth and enhancing public services.


Muqdisho (SONNA): Ra’iisal wasaare ku xigeenka Xukuumadda Federaalka Soomaaliya mudane Saalax Axmed Jaamac ayaa maanta kormeer shaqo ku tagey Dekedda magaalada Muqdisho, halkaas oo ay ku soo dhaweeyeen Wasiirka Wasaaradda Dekadaha iyo Gadiidka Badda, mudane Maxamuud Aadan Geesood, Wasiir dawlaha Wasaaradda Dekadaha iyo Gaadiidka Badda mudane Maxamed Cabdulqadir Dhucle iyo maareeye ku xigeenka Dekedda Muqdisho, ahna ku simaha maareeyaha Guud ee Dekedda Muqdisho mudane  Cali Xaaji Maxamed.

Wasiirka Wasaaradda Dekedaha iyo Gaadiidka Badda ayaa waxbixin ka siiyay Ra’iisalwasaare ku xigeenka XFS shaqada baaxadda leh ee ay ummadda Soomaaliyeed u hayso Wasaaradda Dekadaha iyo Gaadiidka Badda, isaga oo intaas ku daray sida ay ugaga go’an tahay horumarinta adeegyada Wasaaradda.

Ugu danbayntii Ra’iisalwasaare ku xigeenka 1-aad ee JFS ayaa bogaadiyay hawlaha baaxadda leh ee ka socda Dekedda magaalada Muqdisho, kuwaas oo ay garwadeen ka tahay Wasaaradda Dekedaha iyo Gaadiidka Badda ee JFS.
