Mogadishu (SONNA) – The Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Mr. Salah Ahmed Jama, hosted a delegation from the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) today. The delegation was led by Marina Walter, the Deputy Regional Director for the Arab States.
During the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister and the UNDP delegation reviewed Somalia’s remarkable strides in recent years. Key topics included advancements in government infrastructure, social development initiatives, economic recovery efforts, and the enhancement of national security. They also discussed the stabilization of regions liberated from terrorist control and the ongoing cooperation between Somalia and the United Nations.
This meeting shows the strong partnership between Somalia and the UNDP, highlighting the collaborative efforts to foster sustainable development and peace in the region.
