Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Salah Ahmed Jama, chaired a high-level security meeting at the Benadir Regional Headquarters, focusing on enhancing security in the capital and surrounding districts.
The meeting discussed strategies to strengthen public safety, improve coordination between security agencies, and reinforce community engagement in security operations. Deputy Prime Minister Salah Ahmed Jama emphasized the government’s commitment to supporting security forces, fostering collaboration between state institutions and the public, and ensuring a safe environment for residents.
He also directed cabinet ministers to break their fast with citizens and security personnel across Mogadishu’s districts during the holy month of Ramadan as a gesture of solidarity and support.
Furthermore, he urged security officials to strengthen their ties with local communities to help identify and root out threats hiding among the civilian population.
