Laascaanood, (SONNA – The Deputy Minister of Information, Culture, and Tourism of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hon. Abdirahman Yusuf Al-Adala, held a key meeting today with the leadership of the Ministry of Information, Communications, and Technology in SSC-Khaatumo.
During the meeting, Deputy Minister Al-Adala affirmed the Federal Government’s full support for the SSC-Khaatumo Information Ministry. He pledged assistance to ensure journalists in the region receive professional training to enhance their skills and capacity, as well as a commitment to revive the tourism sites and facilities within the region.
As part of his visit—accompanying Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre’s delegation—Minister Al-Adala also toured several media outlets operating in SSC-Khaatumo, recognizing their role in promoting access to information and strengthening regional communication infrastructure.
