Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Minister of Defense of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Ahmed Moalim Fiqi, today received the Governor of Gedo region, Abdullahi Abdi Jama (Shimbir), at his office.
Their discussions focused on strengthening security and defense in the region, with particular emphasis on accelerating operations against the Al-Shabaab extremists to safeguard civilians and eliminate the group’s presence in Gedo.
