Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Minister of Defence of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Ahmed Moallim Fiqi, together with the State Minister of Defence, Hon. Omar Ali Abdi, today met at the Ministry with the Chairman of the Defence and Security Committee of the Upper House of the Federal Parliament, Senator Adan Abdinasir Mohamed.
The meeting focused on strengthening coordination and cooperation between the Ministry and the Committee, with a particular focus on enhancing oversight, advancing national defence and security priorities, and accelerating the ongoing operations to liberate areas still under terrorist control.
