Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Minister of Defence of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Ahmed Moallim Fiqi, Chairperson of the East Africa Standby Force (EASF) Defence Ministers, today held an introductory meeting with the EASF delegation led by Director Brig (Rtd) Paul Njema.
The delegation briefed the Minister on the current security situation in the region. Discussions also covered Somalia’s upcoming hosting of the high-level EASF Organic Policy meeting, which will take place in Mogadishu from July 15-19.
