Mogadishu, (SONNA) — On February 6, Danab Special Forces, in coordination with international partners, carried out a successful targeted operation against al-Shabaab terrorists in the vicinity of Warmaxan, Lower Shabelle region.
The operation resulted in the deaths of two al-Shabaab terrorists and the detention of two additional al-Shabaab militants. The operation also disabled an al-Shabaab checkpoint and resulted in the seizure of an explosives cache, which the militants were planning to use to continue terrorizing innocent Somalis.
