Mogadishu, (SONNA) — A high-level consultative conference between registered political parties and the Federal Government of Somalia has officially opened in Mogadishu. The forum brings together senior government officials and political stakeholders to strengthen dialogue on key national issues.
The opening session was attended by top officials including the Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, the State Minister at the Office of the Prime Minister, and the State Minister for Foreign Affairs. The event is organized by the National Dialogue Preparatory Committee, chaired by the Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, Hon. Hassan Macallin Mahmoud.
Discussions are centered on national security, the constitution, and upcoming elections. The conference serves as a preparatory step toward the broader national dialogue called for by President Dr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud to foster political consensus and unity.
