Lusaka, SONNA – At the 17th African Military Law Forum held in Lusaka, Zambia, Colonel Ahmed Khalif Jinow of the Somali National Army (SNA) has been elected Vice President of the African Military Law Council representing the East African bloc.
Colonel Jinow, who serves as the senior legal adviser for the SNA and deputy attorney of the Armed Forces Court, was selected for this prominent role amid a significant gathering of military legal experts from across the continent.
This election underscores Somalia’s growing influence in regional military legal affairs.
