Mogadishu – The Chairman of Somalia’s National Civil Service Commission, Mr. Hassan Abshirow Mohamed, has officially launched the second phase of a training program for ministerial and institutional subcommittees on the implementation of the Government’s Civil Service Pay and Grading Policy.
In his opening remarks, Chairman Abshirow emphasized the importance of the training in establishing a fair and transparent system for standardizing salaries and job grades across the public sector. He highlighted the role of the policy in enhancing civil service management and professionalizing public administration.
Chairman Abshirow urged participants to embrace their responsibilities with integrity, patience, and accountability, noting that their leadership is crucial to advancing effective governance. He called on committee members to set a positive example and to lead the implementation of national policy reforms aimed at modernizing Somalia’s civil service framework.
