Mogadishu(SONNA)-Chinese Ambassador to Somalia, Wang Yu on Monday held meeting with the Commissioner of the Somali Disaster Management Agency, Mohamoud Moallim at the embassy and discussed the humanitarian situation in the country.
“Commissioner @MahamuudMoallim discussed the humanitarian situation in #Somalia with China’s ambassador, @AmbWangYu , emphasizing the need for aid and infrastructure support, while thanking the embassy for its contributions to relief efforts”, SODMA said on X.
SODMA said that Ambassador Wang Yu has conveyed the commitment of the #Chinese government to offer aid assistance to the country. “He emphasized the intention to enhance the collaboration and coordination on relief matters between #SoDMA and the Chinese Embassy”, it said.
