Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Governor of Banadir Region and Mayor of Mogadishu, H.E. Dr. Hassan Mohamed Hussein (Muungaab), held a key meeting with a delegation led by Mads Oyen, Head of Operations for UNICEF Somalia.
The discussion focused on enhancing general healthcare services across Banadir, strengthening child nutrition programmes, expanding vaccine storage facilities, and supporting the development of health centres in the region’s districts.
Governor Muungaab commended UNICEF’s continued support, particularly in maternal and child health, and emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts to achieve inclusive and accessible healthcare for all.
