Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Attorney General of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Sulayman Mohamed Mahmoud, today convened a meeting with the Prosecution Departments of the Office of the Attorney General, focusing on accelerating and finalizing key procedural frameworks.
During the session, prosecutors provided comments, suggestions, and recommendations that contributed to the successful endorsement of three critical new procedures:
- Procedure for Declaring Conflicts of Interest
- Procedure for Indictment Decisions
- Procedure for Safeguarding Confidentiality and Case File Information
Attorney General Mahmoud commended the prosecutors for their active engagement in the development of these frameworks and instructed immediate implementation in line with their approved guidelines.
