Addis Ababa, (SONNA) – The Ambassador of the Federal Government of Somalia to the Republic of Ethiopia, HE Abdullahi Mohamed Warfa had a meeting with the Assistant Secretary General of the United Nations, HE Atul Khare and head of the assistance of UNSOS, Amb. Aisa Kacyira.
Ambassador Warfa briefed the two officials on the situation in Somalia and the process of the liberation by the Somali National Army with the local forces to bring stability to the nation.
The meeting focused on several topics that are in the interest of Somalia including developments in the fields of stability, peace in the Horn, and strengthening the support of the UNSOS to Somalia.
The Ambassador and Assistant Secretary-General agreed on the acceleration of the UNSOS support to the people and Government of Somalia.
