Jowhar, SONNA – On Wednesday, Acting Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Salah Ahmed Jama, accompanied by a ministerial delegation, arrived in Jowhar, the capital city of Hirshabelle State. The delegation was warmly received by Hirshabelle State President Ali Hussein Gudlawe and several members of his cabinet at the state house.
The purpose of the Acting PM’s visit was twofold: to inspect the current status of the people in Hirshabelle and to inaugurate the newly constructed Sabuun Dam. This visit underscores the government’s commitment to infrastructure development and addressing the needs of the local population.
The Sabuun Dam project is expected to significantly enhance water management and agricultural productivity in the region, contributing to the overall socio-economic development of Hirshabelle State.
