Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Ministry of Livestock, Forestry and Range of the Federal Government of Somalia officially launched Activating Climate Resilient Agricultural Livelihoods in Somalia (ACALS) project delivering climate-resilient technologies and livelihood support for pastoralists, farmers, women and youth in Somalia. Funded by African Development Bank, implemented by WFP in Somalia and UNOPS in Somalia.
Activating Climate Resilient Agricultural Livelihoods in Somalia ACALS will strengthen resilience and empowerment for 30,000 people, focusing on women and youth, through restored agricultural systems, climate-adapted infrastructure and anticipatory action in Hirshabelle and Puntland.
