Mogadishu (SONNA) — The Commander of the Somali National Army (SNA), Brigadier General Ibrahim Mohamed Mahmoud, held a meeting with the Defense Attaché at the Embassy of Italy in Somalia, Captain (Navy) Antonino Mazzocca.
The meeting focused on strengthening and enhancing military relations and cooperation between the two forces.
Brig. Gen. Ibrahim expressed his appreciation to the Italy for its continued support to the Somali National Army, particularly in the areas of training and equipment.
For his part, Captain Antonino Mazzocca reaffirmed his government’s commitment to sustaining support and cooperation with Somalia, underscoring the importance of peace and stability to the country’s overall security and development.
