Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Minister of Commerce and Industry of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Jamal Mohamed Hassan, on Tuesday received the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Somalia, H.E. Wang Yu, at his office.
The meeting focused on strengthening trade and economic cooperation between the two countries. Discussions centered on investment opportunities, industrial development, promotion of bilateral trade, and the role China can play in supporting Somalia’s economic growth.
Minister Jamal Mohamed Hassan expressed appreciation to the Chinese government for its continued support to Somalia, emphasizing the importance of expanding commercial cooperation in a way that benefits the people of both nations.
The meeting underscores the growing economic ties between Somalia and China and reflects both sides’ commitment to deepening bilateral relations in trade and development.
